Warhaven playtest8/25/2023 ![]() They can include any tester from any region. There are 30 testers in each League Challenge. Do the ranks for the League Challenge include all the testers? We will work to improve so that all combatants may have a chance to be in the spotlight by creating different circumstances. We are aware the certain Immortals are being displayed in the Spotlights after the game. It seems only certain Immortals are being selected for the after-match Spotlight. ![]() Yes, we will work to improve our desertion penalties and the function to join matches mid-game in our official release. Will there be improvements for players who receive penalties from leaving the match due to crashes and other unintentional leaves? Will there be game modes that involve less players in a match? Less than 16vs16?įor now, we are focusing on 16vs16 gameplay. In our official release, the conditions that affect the rank points may also be different from this global beta. Yes, unranked matching mode is under preparations. Will there be an unranked matchmaking option? We are continuously trying our best to find the right balance between not ruining the gameplay experience and shortening our queue times. ![]() Lowering the queue times may lower the matchmaking quality due to the inclusion of testers of different network environments and tiers. If it cannot search for enough players that meet these conditions, it broadens its search spectrum to include a wider pool of players with different network conditions, tier, and etc. When a squad searches for a match, it looks for more skilled opponents than when queued for solo play. This comes as 5 hours of playing only Arch as my license to complain about Arch. The matching system searches for groups with similar wins/losses, achievements, and rank points. Doesnt need to be high damage but some means of self-defense is never a bad thing, cause otherwise as it stands, the character will more than likely be the least used/played as the game progresses. He's a cat thing, let him be agile.Ģ continued) Alternatively, give the poor cat his claws, if you're going to keep the block, the power-slash is neat but the windup is nightmareish. Thus i propose removing the block entirely if they aren't going to give Arch a more effective means of self defense, in favour of a roll/dash evade that lets you back dash (On a similarly timed cooldown for balance) from enemies. (Yes I know, skill issue.)Ģ.) I mean lets face it if you're in melee you're probably already dead or running like you're in the Olympics, so blocking on this character is somewhat pointless considering it barely staggers the attacker if it does at all, so by the time it's off cooldown you're already being swung at again. On large maps it feels almost like you're trolling the team by picking Arch as he is currently because you have to be damn near in melee to be useful and then get oneshot if someone even so much as looks at you the wrong way. TLDR- Change his hitscan to a projectile with 'arrow drop', remove his block for a back dash evade.ġ.) The reason to remove the hitscan for a projectile would make the character (In my opinion) far more enjoyable to play and far more useful, as this means you could be at a further distance to harass and fire arrows, even if it requires more skill to actually hit and lead targets. Whether the devs see this (Doubt), is another matter but one can hope if enough people agree. After doing some reading on the general opinions of the character, I have come to the conclusion that over-all the character feels bad to play for almost everyone, though they full their role as a harrier or harasser very well, some improvements in my mind can be made.
